The New Year’s Eve is celebrated all over the West in form of holiday. It is celebrated on 31^st December i.e. the last day of the year, and people usually gather in public places and do shopping & dining together to mark the celebrations. It is usually a big day in most cities of the world that includes London, Dubai, Sydney, Toronto, Vancouver, Auckland, Moscow, Paris, & New York. The most exciting events that happen on the New Year’s Eve & something that makes it stand apart from the rest of the days are the annual fireworks.

Takes place usually in most big cities of the world with millions of dollars invested on the fireworks. Takes place in London, the financial hub of UK and its capital. In the United Kingdom, the fireworks of London holds mega status. A place where thousands of Londoners & people from many other European countries gather together. The Eve comes with great shopping discounts and mouth-watering offers. Something, that makes it a huge day for people to celebrate & make joy. These are moments of joy in form of family gatherings, parties, & shopping together. It marks as a huge day for the International Retail industry. Ironically, as big brands all over the world open themselves with discounts and scintillating offers. New Year’s Eve is just like you can have all the fun on the big night. FIREWORKS ON THE NEW YEAR’S EVE:

The world clocks are synchronised and people are waiting for the count of 12:00 am midnight to begin their celebrations. The Big Ben strikes 12:00 am, and its 1^st Jan, i.e. the next day of the year. People start shouting & going crazy as the fireworks i.e. a huge and extravagant part of the New Year eve starts lighting up the skies of cities like London, Paris, New York & Sydney. If you are a Londoner you can’t miss it being the most expensive fireworks. On top of this,  the way it changes the whole scenario for people in matter of few seconds. It takes place for at least half an hour, and those few minutes are the biggest and brightest moments of joy for those gathered around the London eye & the famous Sydney Opera in huge numbers.

They just want to symbolise the New Year, and say a warm good bye to the year passing by. They don’t want to regret the passing year, the calamities, the bad things, & the challenges they faced personally. Instead, they want to hope for the upcoming year, with prayers of love & blessings from the Almighty to be showered & bestowed in the New Year.

The fireworks takes place in Toronto in Canada & is marked as a symbol of Canadian unity & solidarity. It’s a declaration that Canada is a country that is one of the biggest in the world & has all the capacities & the capabilities to fight the challenges. Its migrants are people who deserve and share the same respect, love & status as the rest of the citizens from the great nation. Canada is a country that loves its people, either they are in Canada or away.

Christmas is celebrated all over the Christian world on the 25^th of December, also known as Christmas Day. Hence, it marks the birth of Jesus Christ also known as Messiah. Earlier in ancient times the religion’s most significant holidays were Epiphany on January 6^th. However, the first official mention of December 25^th as a holiday honouring Jesus Christ’s birthday appears in an early Roman calendar. This Roman Calendar dates back from 336 A.D. In addition to this is compassion and respect for Jesus Christ and his teachings. People all over the world pay rich tributes to his sacrifices for Christianity. Furthermore, they remember Jesus Christ in form of prayers and reciting the verses from the Holy Bible.

THE GLOBAL IMPORTANCE TO CHRISTIANITY:

In any possible way, the significance of the religion to the Christian world cannot be ignored. The followers of Christianity are 31.1 % of the world population, i.e. the highest in terms of percentage. Islam is the next most followed religion with 24.1% followers, followed by Hinduism 15.6%. In numbers, most countries of Europe are followers of Christianity. This is followed by some parts of Asia, North America & South America. There are some parts of Africa as well that are partly Christian and some are Christian minorities like in Asia.

The power and symbolism of Christianity is highly evident in Europe. Hence, as Vatican City is a sacred place for the Christians of the whole world. It is also the resident city to The Pope. The current Pope of the Christian world is Pope Francis, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is the Bishop of Rome who resides in the Vatican City. The Vatican City is the Holy city, i.e. an independent city state an enclave within Rome, Italy. It became independent from Italy due to the treaty signed in 1929, also known as the Lateran treaty.

THE CHRISTIAN WORLD:

It is the religion that is followed in more than 90% of European nations with love for Jesus Christ. Apart from the love the emotions that hold importance are religious intensity and Passion. It is highly celebrated especially in countries like England, Italy, France, Canada, United States, Spain, Brazil, & Argentina, apart from many other countries from Europe and The Americas. Christianity is celebrated in form of sermons and prayers for Jesus Christ. Hence, it is a holiday especially in those countries that are strict followers of Christianity.

Mostly celebrated with the compassion for Christians all over the world, especially feeding the needy in form of charities. Gifts are shared on the special occasion of Christmas day as well as Christmas dinner is a huge tradition that marks the importance of Christmas. Decorating the Christmas tree and making it a symbol of love and affection is yet another norm that takes place annually all over the globe.

THE IMPORTANCE ASSOCIATED WITH CHRISTMAS DINNER:

There is a huge amount of significance associated with Christmas Dinner which differs in the whole Christian world. However, the differences might be slight, but the one dish is common in the Christmas Dinner menu is Turkey. In English speaking Canada the menu associated with Christmas Dinner is the same as in Britain. However, it can vary provincially as some parts of Canada is French-speaking for example Quebec. The traditional Christmas dinner menu includes Turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and vegetables such as carrots, turnip, parsnips etc. Other types of poultry, roast beef or ham are also used.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS & THE NEW YEAR:

The Christmas holidays starts in most countries from Christmas Eve, i.e. 24^th December, and is also an official holiday on 26^th December, i.e. Boxing Day, the next day of Christmas day. It is a significant part of winter as most regions of Christmas celebrating countries are intensely cold apart from Australia and New Zealand where it is summer in December. Most people enjoy their holidays and resume after the start of the New Year, while they spend their holidays with their loved ones. Thus, it is indeed a period of celebrations and unity, and holds huge financial rewards for the Tourism Industry.

1. Prevention Costs:

   Results in the designing and implementing of the QMS, i.e. Quality management System. The costs are known as prevention costs in the process of Quality management & control. Incurred in the middle of the process, while preventing the quality problems from arising. The costs includes Quality Assurance, Quality Planning & Quality training.

2. Internal Failure Costs:

   Most commonly termed as the ‘Internal failure costs’ in the Quality management process. After the delivery of the products & services are done to the customers. Hence, the occurrence than takes place from the customer’s end.  Due to quality failures, these costs arise when manufacturers find them. The costs also includes the activity required for the diagnosis of the cause of Quality failures.

3. External Failure Costs:

   One of the most expensive costs that arise due to external failures. Post delivery process to the customers is when the External failure costs usually takes place. The costs includes, repairs, warranty claims, returns, and finally dealing with the complaints of customers.

4. Appraisal Costs:

   The appraisal costs, part of the production process are due to measuring the effectiveness of the QMS. These are costs that applies to both the manufacturers and the Supply Chain.
