Canada has increased its steps towards food waste reduction and introduced new reforms, measures & prospective initiatives for the food waste reduction program 2030.
Estimates shows that more than half of Canada’s food supply is wasted on a record of yearly stats & 49.5 billion of that food waste is highly unavoidable. There are many resources through which the food is wasted. From farms in form of raw food to plate (Servings). On top of this, there is a lot of wastage of food during the production & processing. Hence, finally the distribution process, i.e. in the final process of Supply Chain. According to the Minister Bibeau, the Ministry is affirmative with the reductions in food waste. Ironically, the efforts are proving good with so many positive reasons.
